We went to the park so that MV could get some space to ride her big bike. At first she was a bit hesitant but she soon got the hang of it and really enjoyed it. It was then hard to get her off of it. EV enjoyed playing with her scooter but not as much as the swing. That is still her favourite activity, although she is now also enjoying climbing on the little kid climbing wall.
On this relatively rare occasion all three girls wanted to dress up as princesses. Although not all of them necessarily wanted to take a photograph at the same time. We'll certainly take what we can get.
The girls got up and got the box of art supplies down to do some work. This was even before they had breakfast or anything. They just wanted to make things. We let them so that they could capture all of those creative urges. They then had a good breakfast and were generally quite relaxed the rest of the day.
The girls were happy to walk through the shopping centre, especially when they remembered the lego shops was there. They got to spend as much time there as they wanted but we didn't end up getting anything, although they have ideas for what to include on their birthday lists. After that they were happy to go to the other shops to buy groceries and other things. Overall a very pleasant time for all of us.
We went to the shopping centre but before we did anything else, we bolstered our strength with some lunch. Dumplings ae often the answer in cases like these, especially when they have some special New Year ones as cute as these. Although MV found the chocolate filling quite surprising. Otherwise lunch went over well and there was nothing left by the end.
Nat-cho cheese. We had that along with make your own nachos for dinner. Had mostly positive reviews although there were a few doubters. Oh and corn on the cob, mostly because we just needed to finish it before it went off.
TV found a bike on the side of the road and after a bit of work got back into good working order. MV helped get it clean and was excited to ride it. Once she got on it though, she was a bit scared. She managed quite well but needs a bit more time to feel comfortable.
