City dentist visit

 We all went into the city for our dentist visit and dinner. We also walked around the city a little bit as it was the first day of the annual lights festival Vivid Sydney. There were lots of people about and some pretty light displays too.

Ron goes to Bondi Beach

 On the last day of the visit we finally managed to take Ron and Grandma CeCe to Bondi Beach. It was another sunny day with a little breeze so it was the perfect time to see the beach. The girls, including Grandma CeCe, loved playing in the sun and waves. It was hard not to. Afterwards we went and had a really nice lunch all together before having to say our good byes.

More from the Hunter

 Feeling in good spirits we drove around a little bit to see the countryside before stopping in for some ice cream. Afterwards we went off to out favourite winery where we wrapped up the day in style. It was a very pleasant way to spend the day.  

Up in the Hunter

 We took a bit of a trip up to the Hunter Valley to see some nature and while there taste some wines. When we got there we first stopped in to get some lunch. We then stopped in at a winery that had a really lovely view over the pond and the ducks. The wines were nice and the atmosphere so tranquil, it was hard not to relax. The kids really enjoyed running around on the big lawn and throwing a ball with KT. So we were off to a good start.

Around town with Grandma CeCe and Ron

 We have taken Grandma CeCe and Ron all around the place. We took them to Featherdale to pat koalas and other animals. To Barangaroo for a nice dinner and drinks at the casino. We also went to dumplings in Ashfield since they are so tasty. The best part though was just spending time with them and playing some games together.

Mother's Day at the Royal

 We took the KT and Grandma CeCe to the Royal for a nice lunch. We got to sit out on the veranda on what proved to be a very nice day. The two of them went off for a massage afterwards to get relaxed.

Wrapping up MV's 8th birthday

 The party was over in what seemed like a blink of an eye. Of course we managed to have a group photograph and blowing out the candles on the cake. MV was a great host as she spent time with each of her guests and made sure they were having fun even as she did. Later in the evening she started opening her presents and was very grateful for all of them.
