MV's first day of child care

We can't believe that it is already time for MV to go to child care. We were a little bit worried about how this was going to go since she is a bit younger than SV was when she started. Turned out that we had nothing to worry about though. She was really keen smiling and being involved in the entire journey. When she got to the centre she wanted to get down and play with the other kids and toys. SV was a good big sister and helped MV ease into the experience as well. We were proud of both of them as they did so well.

SV's first make up

SV was quite keen to try out putting on make up like KT. She received a little make up kit in her easter show bag so we let her try it out. She had fun doing it with KT supervising and MV watching her big sister.

More portraits from the garage

We went back into the garage studio again as SV needed some passport photographs. MV was also wearing one of KT's old easter outfit so we though we would make some portraits of her as well. KT got in there with her girls as well for good measure.

Easter Show 2016 continued

After lunch it was time to get some of the energy out. The girls played at the playground a bit before we went exploring a some more. The baby chicks proved popular as did the various fair foods.  MV especially liked the corn whereas SV liked a bit of everything. Eventually we ended up back at the playground again for them to play some more.

Easter Show 2016

After not feeling well but we mended just in time to see the tail end of the Easter show again. We again caught the train out there which was fun. The first thing we saw was a bull in a cowboy hat, so we knew we were in for a good day. We stopped to see the future metro train model and see some of TV's co-workers. There was so much to do and we had quite a bit of fun. SV of course enjoyed dancing during a show while MV was trying to get used to walking in shoes. It was a bit weird but she was getting used to it pretty quickly. Both SV and MV got to go on a few rides before lunch as well. Pretty big day.

Wall decorating

We got a decal set for MV's room and we started putting it up. It took quite a while to finish as we had to do all of the stickers individually and as a consequence the enthusiasm level of the girls declined significantly towards the end.The end result is quite good though.

Easter egg hunt

The easter bunny was a bit too fancy this year and due to the rain decided to hide eggs only inside. That didn't affect MV and SV's enthusiasm though as they found their treats in the morning and looked for the hidden eggs.
