Jumping in the pool

We went for a visit and ended up going for a swim. At first MV was a bit cautious about jumping into the pool, but that didn't last long. Pretty soon she was jumping in along with SV without a second thought. EV wanted to get in on the action too so we ended up helping her. She enjoyed it too. They were all exhausted by the end.

Beach and a fort

In the morning before it got too hot we walked to a different beach for a bit of a swim. It ended up being super busy but it was still very nice to get in the water. Once it started getting hot we went back to the house and the kids built a fort. There was a bit of argument about the whole afair because they were a bit hangry, but after lunch everyone settled down and completed the fort.

On the trampoline and more

After the beach the kids had fun making a fort, jumping on the trampoline and (not as much fun) eating dinner. EV has really embraced the wearing of a helmet at pretty much any time of day.

Getting to Pretty Beach

We drove up to Pretty Beach which is on the Central Coast for a bit of a catch up with our friends. Once we got up there we went to a little harbour beach. It had a bit of sand which EV did not like and wind which she did like. For some reason she didn't like having the sand on her feet but really liked having the wind through her hair. The rest of us didn't mind the sand and water while we tolerated the wind.

2019 Santa photos

We totally forgot to post the Santa photos from this year. They are pretty funny actually despite EV not really having much fun.

Water play table

EV got a water play table and she along with her big sisters really enjoyed it. They had a lot of fun playing with all of the different toys. SV didn't even mind that she had to hunch to play. They played fr ages and got soaked, luckily it was a nice warm day.

Opening some big gifts

Finally we got to some of the big presents to open. Everyone was quite excited to see what they were. We were decidedly not disappointed as there were some really neet things to play with.
