Preparing for easter

The preparations for easter are in full swing. Eggs are being emptied, painted and set for display. Dresses are being tried on and the house was cleaned up.

Exploring the new park

Well, not exactly exploring since we had been there previously, but it's still a new park. Being right down the road has been very convenient though. SV has been getting really good on her scooter and her confidence has really increased. MV has taken to leaning out of the pram and yelling at people recently which she seems to quite enjoy. At the park MV is quite confident walking and crawling all over the play structure. She is going both up and down the slide by herself. SV is running around and making friends every time we go. They are both growing like weeds as well.

In the tepee

We again put up the tepee and both the girls climbed right in. They were very quiet for quite a long time so we looked in to see what was going on. They were having a grand old time though exchanging gifts and working on trades.

Enjoying the backyard

At first the girls were playing together inside, but the wonderful weather lured them outside for some play while we tidied up the backyard. SV enjoyed helping by sweeping, although it was in a slightly unconventional manner. She is good at sweeping though, having been practicing since she was little. MV also enjoyed being outside although more because she could walk around unencumbered while eating an apple.

Uncle Mat is in town

He is visiting because he and KT are going to see Tom Jones in concert. SV and MV both enjoyed having another adult in the house to entertain them. They got along quite well and produced a very nice piece of art one day and decorated our tree another day.
