Last of horse camping

After all the horse riding SV needed a bit of quiet to relax  before dinner. She found a nice little spot and then went and helped make dinner. Afterwards her and KT made a fire and roasted marshmallows. The next morning meant SV and KT had to say good bye to the horses after a couple of fun days. MV and TV were looking forward to them getting back of course.

A bit more from horse camp

SV got back to the horses after a good sleep. Unfortunately she had to wait a little while and had to kill some time. She found the vending machine and made the most of it by getting her favourite snack, cheezles. Then she got another fun treat before getting back into the saddle. She had heaps of fun riding again. This time KT walked her around rather than in a class.

Horse camp continued

After getting to know her horse and practising some grooming techniques SV was really excited to get to ride. She did really well and enjoyed it. In fact she enjoyed it so much that her and KT decided to do it again the next day. At breakfast she could hardly contain her excitement.

SV's horse camp

KT and SV went to horse camp, basically ride horses and camp. SV was a bit nervous at first, but pretty soon she was feeling more confident and excited. Once she got to pat the horses and start taking care of them she was really excited. Once she got on, it was hard to wipe the smile off her face.

Riding in the park

We took the scooter and bike to the park to do a bit of riding. Of course both MV and SV wanted to ride the scooter which meant they had to take turns which led to a minor dispute. Eventually they both got a turn and ended up having a snack over which they made up. They were then united when questioned in the flying fox queue. It was really good to see how well they stuck together.

Popsicles and art

The girls were having outdoor time which involved watercolours. They stopped to have a popsicle and a chat. Setsuna came over to investigate briefly before the painting got back underway. Somehow brushes were discarded and it became a finger painting exercise.
