We went to a birthday party for one of our friends and we all pitched in to help decorate. There was a lot of fun to be had with the balloons and flags.

Endir gets patted
The girls are really enjoying having Endir living with us. They both really enjoy holding and patting him, and they are both very gentle with him. SV tries to be helpful as well by keeping an eye on him when he is outside and even doing some of the chores for him, like give him more food and do a light clean of his house. MV is also trying to be gentle and has learned how to hold him. We are still working on not pointing at his head, but otherwise she is really good.

Quiet morning
It was a quiet start to the day with a yogurt with both SV and MV sitting in big chairs. Then MV played with her toys while SV read a world atlas to Endir.

Introducing Endir Jahakalops
After a family discussion we decided that it was time that SV and MV had another pet beside the fish tank. After some thinking we decided a mini lop rabbit was going to fit our family lifestyle the best. So far he is fitting in really well. SV really likes him and is handling him very well. MV is trying to handle him well too but she is a bit small and can be a bit rough. Endir is really calm though and handles it very calmly.

2nd annual Xmas at the Postles
We again went to visit the Postles for a second year. We had a good time again eating a great dinner. It was a bit Aussie and a bit American. The kids played together quite well with the gift exchange and xmas crackers proving to be very popular. MV also really liked the little red car which she drove over to look at the chickens in the back of the yard. The kids also played with a water powered rocket, even devising a shield so they don't get wet.

First harvest of the season
After what seemed like ages, for the kids anyway, we finally harvested our first tomatoes. They were both quite proud of the tomatoes and enjoyed eating them. Pretty soon we will be having a few more as the hot weather and good soil have combined for a great crop.

Busy day in the life of a kid
The day started as most do, with breaky, although this one was special as the girls got to have american cereal. SV finished quickly so she could get back to working on her portrait. A bit later on the doctor stopped by to check on one of the 'children'. She gave him a thorough examination before letting him play again. It was a good thing the kids were entertained so well because it gave TV a chance to prepare a feast for Uncle Gareth who was again visiting us. He tends to visit about once a year, and this time we entertained at home. SV was particularly helpful as she expertly laid out the table and even helped with some of the cooking.
