Videos with Grandma CeCe
Taking advantage of some down time, SV and CeCe watched a couple of cartoons on KT's phone. It is pretty amazing what technology allows us to do, and we can only guess at what will be possible by the time SV is all grown up. Any ideas?
Going to Hobart
We flew down to Hobart, the capitol of Tasmania, last night for a long weekend trip. SV was quite good both at the airport where she ate or rather devoured her sushi roll. And then on the flight which had no fewer than 8 babies and young kids. She didn't quite make it to the hotel, going down in the car instead.

Bilpin apple picking revisited Part 2
We all had a really good time picking apples and eating some of our tasty treats. SV was also quite happy to pose for some photographs like the one above which she posed for completely on her own without any prompting from us. She also enjoyed putting the apples into and subsequently taking the apples out of the basket. Sufficed to say that after all of that excitement and fresh air she slept well.

Bilpin apple picking revisited Part 1
It is starting to be that lovely crisp autumn weather which meant apples are ready for the picking. We happily obliged by going back up to Bilpin. Now that SV is bigger we employed her to carry the basket. She really enjoyed it, and had fun taking bites from the little apples that she picked. We walked around for about an hour and a half picking Fuji, Braeburn and Granny Smith apples.

Baby hipster
Picking school clothes is always a bit of a challenge, but this day it easy. SV was feeling a bit punk rock and a bit hip. So she wore a baby hipster outfit complete with a Pink Floyd t-shirt and a stripey sport coat.

Damian in town
We had a chance to catch up with Uncle Damian while he was in town. We went to one of the two Uighur restaurants which we quite like. Had a great time and SV was quite well behaved. Afterwards she wanted to push her pram and carry her bag of puppets on her arm. She carried it like a posh lady carries a fancy handbag. We aren't sure where she learned that though.

Royal Easter Show
The three ladies went out to Olympic Park for the annual Royal Easter Show, which is very similar to a state fair complete with rides and fair food. The one difference is that there are show bags!
SV got to ride on a number of various rides, but her favourite thing was the bubble machine which made heaps of bubbles for her to chase. She didn't mind the fair food but she was quite busy with all the activities.
