Baby get together

All of the babies met up and played together. MV is the youngest but also most active. There was mostly parallel play but at times they actually played together a little bit.

In the park with Nagymama

We took the kids and Nagymama to the playground. She had a lot of fun playing with the kids, making sure they drank enough water. The girls had heaps of fun playing together and with Patka. They took full advantage of everything at the park.

The Klimas

We went to see the Klimas who are family friends.They had some stairs inside which MV really liked. She was up and down them for 3 hours and managed to tire out Teta Andula. SV found some kids books and kept herself busy for a long time as well. It was a great visit and we all had fun.

Slovak kindergarten

We caught up with Teta Aundula who took us to the kindergarten where she works. Both SV and MV were really excited for the opportunity. It was also interesting for TV who briefly attended kindergarten there when he was little. MV found a pram and doll which she really enjoyed exploring with. In the meantime SV and TV built a tower. The girls then played together very nicely.

More of Beckov Hrad

We explored the inside of Beckov Hrad. There are some new buildings which were built to resemble what was likely to have been there before. The castle has also been partly restored which has really made it worth visiting. SV struck a number of poses and MV was quite inquisitive about everything.

Beckov Hrad (castle)

Last time in Slovakia we drove to Beckov Hrad as the first thing we did, but we didn't have a chance to go inside. So this time we took the time to go and take a look at it properly. There has been a heap of restoration work done on the castle, especially since we first came to visit it in 2003. Then there was nobody there and it was falling down.We all quite enjoyed walking around the castle and even managed to get a good family photograph.

Opekanie (BBQ)

We went to Mirko, Anka and Nagymama's house to grill on an open wood fire. SV and MV actually both really enjoyed it. SV was quite helpful in building the fire and then she went and played with MV. Of course the entire family was involved, including Ricky the cat. It was no surprise that the dinner was delicious with all of that help.
