Tapas with Mat and Carlos

Mat came for a visit from Alice Springs and we went out for Spanish tapas for dinner. SV was very well behaved and enjoyed the food including, of course, the prawns (gambas). When we first got there the restaurant was empty but by the time we left there wasn't a free table.

School outfits

Here are a couple of outfits that SV wore to school. Couple of things we do along the way too.

Balancing on the wall

In a rather unwise move, TV taught SV to balance on walls and to 'jump' off them. Now when she sees a wall that's all she wants to do. Oh well at least it's cute and keeps her occupied, and she knows not to jump unless someone is there to catch her.

Dancing at lunch

SV is currently enjoying dancing so much that she was even willing to forgo lunch in order to listen to the guitarist play and dance along. She even got Harriet to join in.

Playground balls

In another repeat from last year, SV got to play with the same multi coloured balls at a playground in the Hunter Valley when we stopped for lunch. This time though she played with some of the other things as well. We think she remembered being there before.

Wine tastings

The last time SV went wine tasting was right before her first birthday. This time we revisited some of the same wineries looking for a wine to send to a friend who was there with us last time. Walking, running, climbing and talking with the people.

Drawing on the porch

SV took advantage of the porch and lovely light to draw in her notebook. Her friend Harriet came over to see and help out briefly. SV reluctantly shared her art, but not for too long.

Bear driver

Our little bear saw this car in the shops and climbed right in. Even put her kitty in the passenger seat.

Baby hair cut

SV and her friend Sullivan were playing with a doctor's kit when Sullivan decided to open his own hair salon with SV as his first customer. Not sure where they saw or learned about it but they both played their parts very accurately. It was such a pleasure to watch them play together.
