What?! More pool shots

Yes indeed. SV really likes the pool and being in the water in general. The hotel pool wasn't heated but she really enjoyed it anyway because it was refreshing since the weather was so hot that day. She was also fascinated by the waterfall which flowed into the pool.

Parap Markets

While in Darwin we took a trip out to Parap to browse the markets on Saturday which have some nice things and tasty food. Almost every neighbourhood has some sort of markets on during different times of the year and on different days, which helps add to the small town feel of Darwin.
It ended up being a very sunny day which combined with the humidity made it very hot. With the heat we could not try as many things as we wanted but what we tried was delicious.

Couple of funny ones

Here are a couple of pictures just for fun taken around Darwin. The crocodile cut out is now a tradition with TV taking a photograph there, although with a different picture, the first time we have been to Darwin. In the third photograph we were changing her nappy and took off her skirt so naturally we put it on her head. She thought it was funny as did we. In the last photograph we were at a pizza place where SV enjoyed a nap before dinner.

Little bookworm

In Darwin we checked out a couple of book shops and saw this book in one of them. We were all surprised to  see it. We wondered if it was any good, but we had already purchased several books and consequently we will have to wait to find out. Has anyone else read or heard of it?

On her first aeroplane

SV was very well behaved on her flight both to and from Darwin. She only complained when she got hungry, and as soon as she was fed she was happy to sleep or play. We had her playing and chewing on take off and landing so that her ears wouldn't bother her, and it worked a treat. Here are a couple of photographs from the aeroplane.

Bumbo seat

SV got a new Bumbo seat so that she can start sitting with the adults during meal time. She had a bit of a play in it and quite enjoyed herself. She can't spend too much time in it yet because her muscles get tired holding her up in a seated position after a while. She is learning to imitate us though while using utensils. We though she was ready for this next step because she has started becoming very interested in what we are doing during meal.

Beach inspection

Our Dear Leader took a inspection tour of Garie Beach. As any self-respecting leader she was carried the entire way, but for a first time she faced out instead of towards her Mum. She quite enjoyed the view, especially of the ocean.
