Tiny Buddha

SV is a bit obsessed with blankets and sheets of all sorts. She decided that the cover from the television was nice and she wanted to wear it. Then she sat down and watched a show on the phone. She tried to mask it by acting like a cute buddha.

Pink bikini

Someone gave SV a pink bikini and she decided that she wanted to wear it around the house. We said that it was ok since it was a warm day, but when she asked to wear it to the shops we said no. She tried to argue the point but we simply did not budge. Even if she wore sensible footwear.

Arts day

SV had a morning of creative arts. Using both watercolours and 3D soft gluey things. At the end she decided not to limit herself and mix mediums. She really enjoyed herself, working for almost an hour and a half. Of course there was also an extensive clean up operation which followed.

Pre-breakfast story

SV is not particular, she would like to have a story read to her or read one herself any time of the day. This time she got TV to read it to her first thing out of bed by asking 'please' very nicely. One can't refuse such a polite request.

Jumping princess

One of our friends gave SV this (ridiculously over the top) dress which she of course likes. Even better is when she gets to jump around in it. She really likes doing that.

Night time story

SV doesn't get night time stories in bed, but this time it was a special occasion because she was using covers and sleeping in her big girl bed. She enjoyed it, but she wanted her sack on afterwards anyway.

BBQ and unofficial birthday party

We were invited to a bbq at Linda and Norman's house in Double Bay. It was an unofficial birthday for Jen but it gave everyone an excuse to get together. Heaps of us got together and had a chance to catch up. We had a great time, unfortunately we had to leave early because of a prior engagement.
