MV's 7th birthday dinner

 She chose to go to dumplings in the city and was not disappointed at all. Particularly as there was a robot kitty delivering some of the dumplings! It was a really nice dinner and MV felt celebrated as she got to open some more of her gifts.

MV's birthday afternoon

 We needed to go into the city for an appointment but we made it into a fun time for MV. We walked around the city and took her to an arcade. It was a really big one with lots happening. In the end she didn't want to play anything but she did pick out a toy from the Japanese inspired vending machines. EV also got a prize with which she was really pleased.

Birthday soccer

 MV had a soccer match on her birthday which was exciting mostly because there were cup cakes at the end of it. We all went along to support MV, but to be honest she didn't really feel like playing much. This was evidenced by her mostly standing around and sometimes chasing the ball. She did enjoy providing a running commentary on the match though.

MV's 7th birthday

 MV has been really excited about her birthday and so she was very excited when it finally arrived. Just after breakfast she got to open her presents from Grandma CeCe along with her sisters. She really enjoyed them and put on her birthday headband straight away.

Flying home after our break

 After an action packed couple of days we headed back home. We managed to pack heaps into a rather short trip and it was great. We had a nice dinner at the airport before we boarded the plane to head home. We got to go on to the tarmac and the kids were quite impressed with the size of the plane. We ended up having a great flight back and we feel ready for our usual longer flights.

Stopping in at the arcade

 The theme park had a pretty decent arcade and the girls asked to go play there throughout the trip. On the last day we let them play for a while and they had a great time. MV was really keen on the racing games and did pretty well. SV on the other hand liked the active games like basketball and throwing balls at clowns. EV was happy to just watch as it was all a bit overwhelming, but she did play a game or two.

Last day at the theme park

 On our last day MV finally got to go on the big roller coaster and she couldn't be more excited. We had to get an official measurement and it was a bit of a process but she got to ride. Afterwards her and SV waited for the front seat of the other roller coaster, so she had quite an exciting morning. EV also got to ride her favourite ride a few more times. So it was quite a nice way to finish off our time there.
