SV decided she wanted to practice her portrait skills by drawing EV on the white board. EV didn't think it looked like her, but we thought it was quite a good drawing.

Friend trade
We traded kids with the Postles so that they each got to play with the other family. The girls really enjoyed it as everyone got a novel experience. They all did all sorts of stuff including dressing up, going to the shops and going to the park.

Drumming class
SV has been doing drumming lessons for a while now. This time her teacher came out and spoke to TV for a little while, in the meantime the girls entertained themselves. They certainly had fun as they giggled and slid down the barrier.

Last day of school for 2021
Hard to believe the school year is already over and the last day of school for 2021 is here. The girls have really grown both physically and mentally. It has been a challenging year but they have both done well through both home schooling and the weird in person teaching due to covid restrictions. Below is a picture from the first day of school and several from the last day.

SV's hair dyeing stage 2
The next of the process was to add colour back to SV's hair. She wanted green so KT added a semi-permanent colour. It wasn't quite as vibrant as she hoped but SV was still happy with the outcome.

SV's hair dyeing stage 1
SV is due a hair cut and was really keen to try to dye the tips of her hair figuring those parts were going to get cut off anyway. KT was quite excited as she got to be hair dresser again. It has been quite some time since she last dyed someone's hair. They had fun together as SV's hair got bleached.

Xmas concert
KT and MV played their violas together for the last time. It turned out to be a lovely little xmas concert. MV has decided that she wanted a break from the viola for a little bit. It was a tough choice but ultimately likely to be a good one as she felt a bit oppressed by it. It was a fitting end, at least for now, to get to play with her mum.
