Another crazy hair day

SV was having another crazy hair day at school and she wanted to do something unusual. We gave her little buns and pinned all sorts of stuff into her hair including a watch, pens and a balloon. MV was happy to just have normal hair and a nice shirt while cuddling her baby all the way to school.

Sisters reunited

When we all reconvened MV and SV danced and made funny faces. SV was making a hungry seal face and MV was just happy to have her big sister back. Eventually they laid down and chatted.

Taking MV shopping

SV had a birthday party, so we took MV shopping and for a bit of fun. She really enjoyed having our full attention and we had a great day. It was a rare treat for all of us.

More caravaning

Clearly the caravan is popular as it came out again for a play. This time the pool was the main attraction and everyone went in for a swim.

The bird show and that view

One of the amazing things about Taronga Zoo are the fantastic views of the city and harbour. The bird show is very interesting and is home to one of the best views which are a perfect backdrop to the performance. SV has seen the show a couple of times but this was MV's first time and she was spellbound. After the show we headed home via the gorilla exhibit where some of us joined in. Once at home SV played while MV had a nap, and then they ended the evening with a quiet movie.

To Sumatra via Taronga

We went to Taronga Zoo again and ended up on a plane to Sumatra. At least that's what it felt like when we saw the tigers. It was a really well done exhibit which really felt like Southeast Asia. We also got to see some of the Asian elephants which were just getting fed and bathed.

Fancy dress caravan

The girls put on some of their fancier dresses to open one more gift. It was quite a big one. They had fun with the box, but then enjoyed the toy inside even more. It was very interesting as it had lots of pieces, had stickers, required some assembly and had heaps of moving things to figure out. They played for literally hours.
