Baking chocolate lava cake cupcakes

KT and SV were baking again, and the results were delicious. It may be possible that one of the chefs may have sampled some of the product before hand.

New moves, same park

We took SV to the same park she has been frequenting since she was tiny tot and it is amazing to see how much she has progressed. She can do all of the activities on her own and is now thinking of things she can do to challenge herself. With a bit of help she even started walking on the tightrope from which she is hanging in the photographs below.

Getting ready

KT and SV were getting ready to go to a baby shower together. So SV wanted to go through her jewelry to pick out something nice to wear like KT.

J & C Wedding: The Party

The party was SV's favourite part by far. She got to dance around and play with so many people. She managed to stay happily and cheerfully dancing until 22:00. It was a fantastic effort and she really was the life of the party. At least on the dance floor. She certainly wasn't shy as she danced with lots of different people, but she wasn't too cool not to dance with TV and KT just yet.

On the way home she was still excited for the first half of the drive but she finally fell asleep just after we crossed the Harbour Bridge. She was very happy to be carried up the stairs and straight into bed.

J & C Wedding: The Photobooth

Jarryd and Chrissy had a photobooth and pieces to dress up with at the reception. The booth was a great idea and was busy almost the entire night. The three of us had a turn as well which was good fun.

J & C Wedding: The Reception

At the reception SV had a good time. She had her own place and name card, along with her very own cupcake. She enjoyed munching on the canapés and enjoying the view out over the city. She was generally happy to sit there with KT who brought a number of activities to keep them busy.

J & C Wedding: The Ceremony

We were all invited to our friend Jarryd and Chrissy's wedding at Taronga Zoo. We were very honoured to get the invite because TV was one of the grooms-men, and SV was the only child invited because of her documented good behaviour. The venue was great even though it rained as the guests arrived, but nobody seemed to mind. Luckily the rain stopped just before the ceremony started and the rest of the day was nice allowing us to look out over Sydney Harbour all the way to the CBD.

SV had a good time and was very well behaved, although she was a bit reluctant to be held. She was much happier meeting new people before and after the ceremony. During the ceremony she was quiet, and quite fascinated by the entire proceedings. At the end the bride asked that everyone blow bubbles instead of throwing rice, which SV was more than happy to do.
