Blue mountains

After a couple of really busy weeks we decided to take the weekend off and spent some time in the Blue Mountains with Carlos. Here we are looking at the Three Sisters rock formation.

3D glasses

On one of her 35 flights, SV got a kids pack that contained 3D glasses. She finally found them and had a bit of fun with them in her cot. She had a lot of fun giggling and hamming it up for us and possibly the camera.

Baby bus

SV got a wooden double decker bus with passengers. Here is a video of her unwrapping her new toy and her joy of playing with it. The video is quite long but we think it highlights some of her developmental changes.

Out to dinner

We went out to dinner with a couple of our friends and SV was very well behaved. She had dinner followed by a babycino. She then played with stickers and her markers. She managed to sit happily for over two hours. It was really pleasant.

On the cat walk

Ok, so the title of the post may be slightly misleading. This post is about SV wearing a cat hat as she goes for a walk, not so much her being a model on a catwalk. Apologies if you thought the latter.
SV picked out her outfit including the rainbow squeaky shoes. Didn't matter that they were too big, she was still quite happy to wear them. As far as the stairs, SV now walks up and down them all by herself. She even goes down without using the handrail. She has good stamina because she goes all the way to our apartment which as some of you may know is no easy task.

Bath time with bubbles

SV enjoying the bubbles in her bath. Lately she has really started to like them.

Stars and stripes pants

Somehow SV ended up wearing stripes on top and bottom, although different colours. After having a breakfast mandarin she went over to help KT complete the US flag.

Swimmer kid

We went to the pool on a sunny winter's day. SV hasn't been swimming for a couple of weeks, but she didn't lose a beat in getting into the water. We spent quite a while there and she didn't want to get out.

Dinner at our house

Mat and Carlos came over to our house for dinner, although Carlos came straight from work and continued doing a bit more work even at our house. SV really enjoyed having them both there, throwing the ball and eating guacamole with Mat and singing with Carlos. Well, maybe more like signing at him.
