Auntie Andrea and Uncle Jonathan arrive

We were all excited because Uncle Jonathan and Auntie Andrea arrived with Cousin WN. We had a low key evening where we all just sat around and talked. There was lots of catching up to do since we hadn't seen them for quite some time.

Computering with Cheryl

We got to go hang out with Cheryl for some time and the girls were excited to get to do some computer work with her. They also did a fair bit of drawing and reading too. The drawing may have been a direct reason for going on the computer in the first place. EV didn't mind as she got to look at Cheryl while being held which she really enjoyed.

First time at Gunther's

EV got to go to Gunther's for the first time. She didn't quite get to enjoy the ice cream directly yet, but secondhand she did. The rest of us really enjoyed our frozen treats though. Having said that, SV and MV craved something a bit more veggie oriented.

Fairytale Town with the clan

Almost all of the kids (and assorted adults) met up at Fairytale Town for a bit of fun. It was kind of a foggy day which lent the place an interesting atmosphere. The kids enjoyed playing with each other, and enjoyed the place in varying degrees.

First it was silly hats and then a swing thing.

Going up to see Babicka

On the way to see Babicka we stopped in to pick up some sushi for lunch. It took a little while so SV got to drawing while TV and MV ran to the bank. At Babicka's house we had fun exploring the property again and spending time with the animals. Babicka and Brad have so many animals to play with that it kept everyone occupied for quite some time. After dinner we also looked at some photographs, which is one of MV's favourite activity.

First night in the Sac

After a somewhat protracted departure from Switzerland we had a relatively unexciting flight. We arrived in the evening to San Francisco before heading up to Sac. We got there quite late and went straight to bed. The next day we hung around Grandma CeCe's house and played. In the evening just about everyone came over for a nice dinner. The girls were still tired and went to sleep even as we talked around them.
