In Leura one more time
The first time we walked around Leura we found a few things to look at a bit more and so we stopped in on the way back home. It was a nice way to spend the morning, walking around relaxed before we headed down the hill for lunch.

Puzzles at the cottage
Back at the cottage we set up a couple of puzzles and worked through them. We really enjoyed the quiet and relaxing activity. Although EV preferred a biscuit as the puzzles were a bit advanced for her. She enjoys puzzles of about 10 pieces at the moment.

Breakfast and Leura walk
We had another lovely breakfast at the cottage. MV didn't mind the cold and had a little snack out on the porch looking out on the view. Eventually we all went to the main street of Leura and had a bit of a walk around. It was nice but as it got closer to lunch some of us got a bit tired and grouchy so we had to head home.

Watching the fire
After our long walk it was time to have a nice relaxing evening. We made a fire and just sat back and watched a bit of television. The sitting room was really comfortable and made for a very nice place to unwind.

Walking to the Three Sisters
After several kilometeres of beautiful bushwalking we eventually got to the Three Sisters. EV didn't quite make it as she sucumbed to the gentle rocking of the walk. She missed one lookout but woke up just before we arrived at the Three Sisters. This was great as we wanted to get a photograph of our three little sisters in front of the Three Sisters rock formation. We then walked up for a spot of lunch before walking all the way back home. Turned out to be just over an 8 kilometre walk and because of lunch and snacks along the way none of the girls complained at all.

Walking along the escarpment
This time we decided to forgo the stairs, at least most of them anyway. We didn't let the cold and light rain stop us as our bushwalk was quite spectacular. It took us through more gumtrees, ferns and some very interesting rocks. We got to visit some great lookputs which had amazing vistas. There were a couple of small creeks for us to cross as well which elicited a comment or two from EV.

Cold morning walk
In the morning we got a bit more bundled up because it chilly and a bit drizzly. Not quite cold enough for snow but not terribly far off. It was quite invigorating though to have another bush walk to go on.
