It was meant to be a rainy day but because KT was sleeping and we have been stuck inside TV decided to take the kids to the beach. He figured they were all going to be wet anyway so a bit of rain wouldn't have hurt anyone. In any case it didn't matter since it didn't rain a single drop. We had a great time although because of the recent rains and wind the ocean was quite rough.
TV got photographs of the girls as they went about their daily business, giving them a bit of a surprise.
TV had to redo his passport photograph and he got cameo appearances from each of the ladies. He was quite lucky to be able to take photographs with each of them.
It has been raining for the last two weeks just about and the girls are really needing to be outside a bit. We have been doing some rainy walks, but they have also been playing in the backyard. They have enjoyed playing with the umbrellas when it's not raining too much and then running inside when it got heavy. They had a good time.
We continued on our walk and the rain eased up a bit as we looked at the Anzac Bridge and other things. We popped into a tiny park along the way to play on the little boat before seeing an actual ferry which was only slightly bigger. We also looked at the Norse style boat which was undergoing a bit of restoration work on the water before heading back home.
It has been a very wet few weeks and TV had to take the girls out for a walk so KT could sleep after a night shift. So the best way to do it is to go for a walk in the rain. The girls were resistant at first but as soon as we got in the car they were onboard. There were some great puddles out there and the girls had heaps of fun.
The girls got twister out for a bit of a spin. They didn't play for long but they certainly had fun while they did. There were a few silly poses and kids toppling over. MV emerged as the champion in the end but the other two didn't make it easy.
