Making a gingerbread house
KT and SV had a gingerbread house kit and the holiday mood struck them so they assembled it while listening to appropriately themed music. They both enjoyed it, and neither one of them ate too much of the building materials, although some sampling had to occur to test the integrity and safety.

Playing with Anushka and Ashley
SV got to go wild and play with her two friends. They danced and ran around in front of the shop while we waited for some freshly made dinner. They had a lot of fun and with the very pleasant late afternoon light made for idyllic photographs. After dinner SV was absolutely knackered though and went to bed with no protest.

Santa's little helper 2014
Again this year SV got to see Santa and get her photograph taken. This year was the first that she could actually ask for something and really like the experience. Can you guess what she wished for? Three guesses.

A dinosaur! So if anyone has a dinosaur and SV would be quite happy to take it off their hands. Preferably a T Rex. A pink one.

Baby proms: Little drummer boy
The last installment of the Baby Proms was called Little drummer boy, and was a series of xmas carols. SV enjoyed the carols, but not as much as chasing bubbles. It was a good performance but TV was slightly horrified when SV went to the man playing the recorder and showed interest in the instrument.

Hanging out with Carlos
SV and TV caught up with Carlos before he moved to New Zealand. They had a quick beverage and a fun conversation. Unfortunately for us Carlos and Damian are moving to Christchurch to live closer to Damian's family. It does give us another excuse to fly to NZ again.

Little jacaranda
SV asked to wear this purple and white dress and then said she looked like a Jacaranda tree which has similar coloured flowers. They happen to be blooming during this time of year and TV and SV have been talking about them. SV was playing around while she waited for the bus and then again at the park later in the day.

Xmas in the city
We had a bit of a look around at xmas decorations including at SV's school. She is quite fond of that little tree and comments on it every time we leave school. We took the bus down to the Queen Victoria Building to take a look at the tree there before heading to Martin Place to see the big tree. We told SV to smile before a performance started on stage and she gave us that funny face instead. To celebrate the festivities we had a nice little dinner where SV watched the staff work in the kitchen.
