First day in SIN

We again took the metro into the city to do a bit of exploring. SV was now old enough to require a pass even though it's free, but that led to some complications. In the end we got it sorted and headed to Clark Quay to walk along the river. It was a nice walk, although a bit sweaty. SV enjoyed seeing the seafood on offer even though we didn't have any for lunch.

Arriving in SIN

Auntie Leah met us at the airport and we were very happy to see her even though it had only been two weeks since the last time. After heading to Leah's house to change and regroup we went out to dinner. MV wasn't terribly impressed with the metro, but she soon forgot about it as she enjoyed a steamy Singapore evening nap. The hawker centre was busy and as good as we remembered it. Especially the juices.

Going to SIN

The start of our world tour is at hand and we headed out of Sydney in style via the AmEx lounge. It was a very relaxing way to start the trip. We are excited to see so many of our friends and family around the world, and especially for the two girls to get to know them better. On our Qantas flight we ended up not getting a bassinet seat, but we did get 4 seats in a row to ourselves. Which ended up working really well.

SV's 4th birthday

We let SV decide what she did for her birthday. She chose to have a donut on the way to school as a special breaky. After school she wanted to have Thai for dinner so she got to do that. At dinner she also got to open some of her presents which was a very big treat for her.

Cake cutting

One of KT's friends made the cake for the party which SV really liked. It was Rapunzel with her plat wrapping around the bottom of the cake. This year SV didn't mind being the centre of attention during this part of the party and she had fun. She did need a little bit of help blowing out the candles though, and her friends were more than happy to help her out.

Birthday party continued

After running around for quite a while it was time for the kids to go have a seat and eat some lunch. After that they got to play games and burn some of the energy off. The limbo proved to be a popular party game again.
