Rain or shine the park is on

Neither rain nor sleet nor hail will keep this toddler from the park today.

Recent randoms

SV still enjoys playing with her chalkboard amongst her other art supplies. She is also a big fan of musical cards which fascinate her for a long time. This sweater one has been a favourite for a while now. She also enjoys reading and watching shows with KT, especially before bed.

Wild flower child

SV was wearing her tulip and ladybird shirt which for some reason made her act wild at the park. She ran around quote a bit and started doing silly things like dangling on the bar on the slide.

Playdoh time

Sometimes SV enjoys playing with her playdoh. This time she was sitting on the couch making ice cream out of it and she was very focused. Eventually she offered some of her creation at which point she noticed SV taking her photograph.

Shoe shopping with Mommie

SV has certainly inherited her KT's love for shoes (and purses). We went shoe shopping and both KT and SV had a blast trying on shoes and eventually buying a couple of replacement pairs. SV really got into it, picking out shoes and trying them on. She even managed to get a pair of trial socks on so she could try shoes on without sanitary worries.

Big girl bed

SV is making the transition to a big girl bed which has no side rails. She seems to have no problem and in the morning she is really happy to be able to play with her toys and read her books. That's also a really good thing for us as it gives us a bit more time to sleep.

Bus citizen

SV has been riding the bus all of her life. So it shouldn't be surprising that she is a good bus citizen (almost always), and yet we are sometimes surprised. She now likes to sit in the very back and look out the side and rear windows. It's very cute because sometimes she likes to do everything by herself including getting on, thanking the driver, walking to the back and selecting her seat. Of course she also likes to push the button to signal for her stop, but every kid likes doing that.
