At Angkor Wat

KT and SV posing at one of the galleries at Angkor Wat. We were certainly not disappointed by Angkor Wat or the other temples we visited.

Whale watching

After living in Sydney for over five years we finally managed to get motivated to go whale watching. We had seen whales on previous occasions from the shore but we thought why not go and see them up close fro a boat. So we took Grandma CeCe and went on a boat to try to see some. It was a very nice day weather wise and the captain said the sea was pretty calm despite the 3 metre swells which had at least half the boat throwing up. We were fine and some of us managed to see dolphins and various sea birds. However, no whales were seen which was really quite disappointing. Here are some photographs from the day nonetheless.

Tuk tuk

We had a chance to engage in SV's favourite activity at a different hotel which had some really cool statues around their pool. On the way back we caught a tuk tuk which we all really enjoyed as the wind blew through our hair.

Pyjama baby

One morning SV was in a great mood and enjoyed playing on the big bed in her pyjamas. She was making all sorts of funny faces while playing with TV's camera stuff.

Markets

First full day in Siem Reap. So far so hot. KT is doing fine but TV and SV are both sweating it out due to the humidity. We expected it, but when you experience it, it's tough. We've already had some tasty food and juices.

TV and SV bath

Our little muscle baby is now very insistent on her evening shower or bath. She sometimes crawls into the bathroom and stands by the tub, even taking her clothes off sometimes. It's really cute, and when she gets into the tub she really likes to stay in as long as possible. Here are a few photographs of her in the tub playing with TV.

In Cambodia via Vietnam

We finally got to Cambodia. We had a plane and gate change before going to Danang in Vietnam which was somewhat unexpected. It was an adventurous flight but we got here in the end. KT and SV pose in the customs hall on arrival.

Good bye Singapore, we'll see you soon

KT and SV waiting at Changi airport in Singapore as we wait for our flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Water features

SV watched this water feature in the shopping centre for about 15 minutes as little jets of water shot up. She was fascinated.

Maritime Museum foreshore

The three ladies went for lunch in Darling Harbour and took advantage of the wonderful weather to walk around the water and look at the ships. SV was of course happy because she got to be near the water even though she didn't get to go in.

Baby in tartan

Tartan is also known as plaid in North America for those of you of that persuasion. These photographs show  SV enjoying her meal of veggies before heading over to the bath tub and preparing it for her bath. She knows exactly what needs to happen before she can bathe and sometimes she help speed the process up.

Arrived in Singapore

Photograph of us in the area just before entering customs at Changi Airport in Singapore. We also had the nicest and talkative cabbie. Already had bbq stingray, yum.

Ladies in the park

One of the highlights of SV's day is going to the park or the pool. We aim to do it at least every other day but sometimes that doesn't happen. When she does get to go she enjoys it thouroughly, and as a bonus she usually sleeps better. Please note that all of the following photographs were taken on film and as such some dust and scratches were not removed due to time constraints.

Happy, and she knows it

SV got to play in the bathroom with all of mum's stuff. We think her expression says it all.

Happy family

A couple of recent family photographs of us starting with us just after we woke up. SV was enjoying munching on a cracker after her breakfast. The second photograph is of us cleaned up to go to lunch. The last one is of the ladies looking at the camera admiring their handywork.
