SV is discovering the joy of bubbles. Both in making them and in popping them.

Playing with legos

To TV's delight SV is now old enough to play with legos. He has been looking forward to this for a while, and he is happy to have an excuse to play with legos again. It's a good thing that SV really likes them as well, often pulling them out and building things. She currently enjoys building towers and stairs, but on this occasion she built a little camera. She may have gotten a bit of help on that one.

Big bear hug

SV met a big bear who gave her a tiny teddy. She really liked the big bear and even gave him a hug. For the rest of the day she walked around with tiny ted and even sang him songs. She enjoyed putting him on her knee and singing "This is the way the ladies ride..".

Spring cycle event

TV and SV volunteered (sort of) to represent TfNSW at this years Spring Cycle event which sees over ten thousand cyclists ride over the Harbour Bridge and through most of the city to olympic park. The two of them handed out free gear to participants, but only after having a good breakfast. SV acted as baby ambassador again, being on her best behaviour, including self entertaining and actually handing out some gear.

Baby scribe

SV is certainly progressing her penmanship. She is now starting to be able to draw straight lines, and makes some recognisable shapes on purpose. She gets a lot of pleasure from drawing/writing.

Halloween costumes

SV's school had two days of Halloween so she had to wear two different costumes. It's fair to say that neither we nor she minded. The bee was her costume for the actual Halloween, although we didn't end up going trick or treating.

The ballerina was her second day costume. She really liked both of them. She got a lot of compliments for both costumes from people on the bus and just generally on the street. It also helped that she kept saying 'buzz buzz' and 'balleeeet' with each costume. With the ballerina outfit, Bunny ended up being her dance partner for the morning.

Sooo tired

After an overnight flight back from Bali, SV was exhausted falling asleep at lunch. To be fair we all felt like that though. 5.5 hours is not a long enough flight to get proper rest even though we slept most of the way.
