We needed EV to play by herself as we needed to get some stuff done. She was more than happy to oblige when we gave her SV's playmobile house. She set about making an outdoor picnic and organising the house in general. She was very focused and had a dialogue going throughout as she narrated her story.
After debating whether to let the kids go we decided that the risk was relatively low. Seems that we were not the only ones as there were quite a few kids out and about. We had fun even though it was a little bit of a shorter walk than usual. EV especially enjoyed it as she got to do everything by herself.
We had the Postles come over for our annual trick and or treating get together. While the older kids got ready with their make up and other stuff EV put on her princess dress and cat ears rather quickly to go as kitty princess. She was a bit shy at first but eventually warmed up to Auntie Vanessa and was happy to sit with her, watching all of the going ons.
Since we did a good job of procuring pumpkins we had to carve them. The girls were very excited and happy to work on them. It was funny and got a bit messy which made it even more fun. The girls were helpful in separating the seeds so that KT could roast them for a delicious snack.
We went out to pick buy some pumpkins but then we had to go and get a few other things again. The girls had fun picking out just the right pumpkin each. We then went to the other shops where EV was really keen on riding the koala plane. Eventually we came home and everyone was tired so they tucked in their pumpkins and had a bit of a rest.
MV was leading a class and the other two were really happy to play along. They worked on a word search and then on some individual assignments too. MV also led a writing lessons which helped everyone.
This little kitty had a good breakfast and then wanted to have some skittles. She was being pretty cute so it was really hard to resist her. She was also making some hilarious faces.
