Bunnies on the stairs

 EV and MV came down the stairs wearing their bunny pyjamas on this cool morning. They then asked TV to take their photographs so that they could pose.

New dolls and such

 THe girls got some new dolls and accessories to play with. SV and EV were right into them and played for several hours. MV eventually joined them too but she had to break away from Minecraft which she is really into at the moment.

The Dragon Fruit Project

 KT came up with the Dragon Fruit Project. The project entails using pieces of a dragon fruit, making devious genetic modifications and growing new fruits. The girls are on to the replanting step after a few of the seeds grew seedlings. They had fun getting their hands dirty and putting the saplings into little egg shells to protect them as they grew.

Working with their cheep cheeps

 The girls got a bunch of little toy chicks and bunnies to make a cheep cheep house. We aren't totally sure what it's about other than a vague easter theme. They enjoyed playing with them and being creative, so we were happy to let them play.

Bike riding again

 It has been quite some time since we went for a bike ride. We tried to catch a break in the rain and go for the ride. We more or less managed although there was a very faint sprinkle at one point. The clouds were very dramatic though. The girls enjoyed the 10 km ride, although they were fairly tired by the end of it. Stopping in parks made them a little more tired but gave them a little break from riding. MV had a stack pretty early on where she scraped up her chin and elbow, but after a drink of water and a quick cry she got up and went again. She's very tough and didn't want to miss out on a ride.

Revisiting another park

 On the way home TV took the girls to another park they used to visit a fair amount. This park has had a bit of an upgrade though and is looking quite nice. They enjoyed jumping along the logs and rocks the most. They liked the other equipment too, but the jumping was the most fun.

Playing at home

 The girls pulled out all of their animal fact cards and started classifying their animals. After they did that they packed all the cards away together. They then brought out the lego and played with that instead. Kept them busy for a while and kept them using their brains throughout.
