First time trick or treating

SV got to go trick or treating for the first time properly. She really liked her costume while MV was indifferent except for the hat and shoes which she despised and constantly tried to pull off. SV had fun going door to door and roaring at people.

MV meets Papi

Arriving in Sacramento we stayed with Papi and it was the first time that MV got to meet him. It was quite exciting for both of them. MV really got comfortable, including giving Papi a good hug In the meantime SV really enjoyed some alone time on the grass. She really liked running through the grass bare footed.

Arriving in San Francisco

Auntie Edina was waiting for us as soon as we arrived into San Francisco. We were pretty tired but we all managed a little bit of sleep on the flight and were relatively reasonable considering it was a 12.5 hour flight. Both the girls felt very comfortable with Edina and enjoyed playing with her. The next morning Uncle Lubo came home from a night shift and was very glad to see us. He made sure that we had plenty of goodies for our stay before we left. The girls made sure to have a cuddle with him before we left as well. After seeing Uncle Marek in his new house we headed up to Sacramento to see the rest of the family and to celebrate Halloween.

Last day in Munich

On our last day in Munich Auntie Naomi and Phillip met us in the morning and we took a walk to a local park. SV managed to get some of her energy out running around although she wasn't all that keen on the swing. It was rather difficult to say good bye to Naomi, but we were very thankful to be able to see her as much as we did. SV really enjoyed playing with her and being silly together. At the airport we didn't have a chance to visit a lounge but we still managed to find a very comfortable place to sit before our long flight.

The Hoffbrauhaus

We returned to the Hoffbrauhaus but we went to the locals area with Auntie Naomi and her friends. It was a lot of fun, both the kids had a lot of fun. SV enjoyed the drawing and MV enjoyed playing with coasters. The Hoffbrauhaus was actually a really good place for kids, they had plenty of activities and of course kid meals. Afterwards we went to a shop where SV got a singing lesson from Phillip.

Happy (belated) Thanksgiving 2015

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We had a lovely meal as a family, and hopefully you all got to spend time with your close relations as well. We had another turducken roast with gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing with a glass of champagne (works surprisingly well). Then SV and KT made pies for dessert.

After lunch at Hellabrun

We had lunch at the zoo cafe including some tasty beers. SV and MV had their own kids table although MV slept through all of lunch. SV got to go run around on the playground before patting and feeding some of the animals. SV was very impressed by seeing a baby rhinoceros playing with his mum. MV was less impressed, but she did like having a snack there and just hanging around.
