After the tigers we went to explore the school kids area where SV was really excited to go on the rides. The gingerbread man ride was probably her favourite as she got to feel a bit like flying. She then she got to meet up with another iguana, but much closer this time.

Tiger time
We were just in time for the tiger show which is quite well known. The tigers were quite relaxed and happy to sit near the glass for people to get good views of them. The actual tiger show was quite good, and it was interesting to see them jump and climb. The best part of course was seeing the cubs playing. SV stood there and laughed, really enjoying watching the cubs roughhouse.

Baby rides investigated
To warm up and get SV comfortable on the rides we went to the little kids area. She enjoy the rides, but the highlight was probably the iguana at the ferris wheel. She got her courage up pretty quickly and making friends on the tea cups helped as well.

Dreamworld introduction
We thought it would be fun to visit one of amusement parks. Dreamworld has the most variety so we went for a visit. The first place we visited was the lego shop which was pretty good. Bubbles were next before we went to check out the frontier area. Unfortunately it was pretty much all closed and the only person we found was a self satisfied hobo on a bench. So we caught the first train out of there.

Making the most of the hotel
Arriving early to the Gold Coast we had a punt and asked about an early check out, to our pleasant surprise our room was ready and we got to put our stuff down. SV wanted to hang out for a bit and she made the most of it.

Good byes all around
After a quick but eventful trip MV and KT had to say good bye to CA. What better way to do that then with an ice cream. Not just any ice cream either, a Gunthers ice cream is really the way to do it.
