We had another lovely day so we decided to go for a drive up to Bilpin to pick some apples again. SV decided to have a go at driving for a little bit. She did well and we got up to Bilpin at a good time to start picking fruit. After getting our basket we looked at the lemons but they weren't quite ripe yet so we moved on to the apples. SV was quite happy to get into the picking spirit and started collecting apples straight away. We got to sample some of them as well along the way.

Head band
We were getting ready to go out and SV just didn't want to do anything with her hair until she saw this head band. When she decided that she wanted to wear it, we had little choice. She is certainly head strong and knows what she wants. That's a good thing except when it runs contrary to what we need her to do.

Still Clovelly Beach
We ended up staying quite a while at the beach. SV just didn't want to leave. Of course we also had a good time and enjoyed the peaceful morning. Eventually we did go have some lunch, but not before SV and KT sampled the salt water pool.

Clovelly Beach
The weather was nice and SV requested going to the beach the week before so we decided to head over. Why not, with the car it was a quick 20 minute trip. SV was really excited to dig, run and splash around. Clovelly Beach is quite interesting as it has a bit of a breakwater at it's entrance and concrete flat areas on the side before the water reaches the sandy beach. It makes for a really nice and sheltered little beach with virtually no waves. Perfect for SV to do as she liked.

Necklaces and more
SV certainly likes to play with her jewelry. In this instance she put on most of her jewelry and pretended to be a teacher with her stuffed animals being her pupils.

Ravenous swimmer
After her swimming SV got home and she was famished. She had a sandwich which she devoured before collapsing into to bed from exhaustion. It was a very successful day.

Working on the backstroke
While there has been a grassroots movement for us to teach SV the butterfly, we have been working on the more modest backstroke so far. We figured she needed to learn some of the basics first, including floating. Just like TV, SV just does not have enough natural buoyancy and has to work to float.
