The girls wanted to have a nice quiet morning and started it by playing with their dolls. The dolls went for a swim before breakfast. Both MV and SV enjoyed it and played very nicely together. Setsuna supervised the entire morning.

Figurines and playdoh
We had a slow start to the morning. The girls got out some of their figurines to play with. TV had lots of things to do around the house and let them just play. They did so really well until it was time to clean up. During their play they made a mess in four rooms and so the cleaning up task seemed insurmountable. After a fair amount of whinging they ended up packing everything away. Eventually SV pulled out the playdoh to make towers. She did really well and made a tower almost as tall as herself. Even better she put all of it away without argument.

Sick MV
MV had to stay at home from school because she was sick. The trouble was she was full of energy and needed to play a bit. Luckily it was a really nice warm day so we took her to the park. She had lots of fun and felt pretty good. Afterwards she had a nice long nap which really helped.

Wrapping up the trams
Most of the trams inside were open and restored beautifully. The girls and their friends enjoyed walking through them, particularly the prison tram with its 6 individual transfer cells. They also pretended to drive some of the trams with MV explaining the controls to everyone. It proved to be another fun and educational day out which led to some great sleep for all.

More trams
After we got back to the museum we jumped straight on to another tram. That tram was really interesting and used in a recent film. It hard neat accordion doors and running boards where passengers could stand and hang on. Eventually we got off the tram and had a little break. The girls wanted some photographs in the bush. Finally we headed inside to see the rest of the trams, including the tram simulator.

Sydney Tramway Museum
TV took the girls to the Sydney Tramway Museum to continue their public transport education. We are going to the museums in the ascending modal hierarchy. Can anyone guess what the next museum will be?
This time the first thing we did was to get a ride on one of the trams. SV made a friend on the ride and MV made friends with the sister. They played and explored together for the rest of our visit. Riding the tram was really fun, but even more fun than that was to get to sit in the driver's seat with the driver's hat. SV really thought that was good fun.

Back to the pool
It has been quite a while since we've gone to the pool. SV recommended a visit and the timing worked out quite nicely. We all had a fantastic time swimming and splashing around. SV made a couple of friends and was off swimming around everywhere while TV helped MV out a bit. MV got quite comfortable and didn't seem to have lost much of her abilities. They had so much fun that not even an hour was enough time for them as they begged to stay even longer.
