Lazy dinner

We had a lazy dinner, ordering pizza and watching a bit of tv. Everyone enjoyed the low pressure evening.

More of the concert

Eating outside is always more fun, especially when you get to do it with your friends while standing. SV took advantage of this a bit more but MV was also more than happy to stand and eat. As the evening progressed they both got a bit tired and ended up finally sitting down. MV Was quite happy to sit and have a cuddle with her kiwi bear who is her current favourite.

Concert in the park

We had an opportunity to catch up with some of our friends in the local park for a jazz concert. It was heaps of fun as SV got to run around with some of her friends. MV enjoyed being loose in the grass as well. The adults also enjoyed catching up and having snacks outdoors.

Playing with Grandma CeCe

Both the girls are really enjoying having Grandma CeCe here to play with. Grandma is a good sport and has been playing with them all day long.

MV the eater

MV sometimes really gets into her meal, although it's as rare as SV doing it. Here is an example of what happens when she likes her meal though.

Feeding the monkeys

It is always a bit of an adventure trying to feed these two little monkeys. Never quite know how it will go. Whether it will be a clean meal or a mess all over, or whether anyone is going to eat the meal or not. Sometimes reading a book as a reward ensures good meals and sometimes it doesn't. In general though MV is going to enjoy watermelon and SV will enjoy berries. Clearly eating/drinking other people's food is best.

Picking up Grandma CeCe

We again went to the airport to pick up Grandma CeCe. She's our first overseas visitor to stay with us in the new house. We made a fun trip out of picking Grandma CeCe up. Even waiting at the airport was fun, both running around and looking at people.
