After 4 months TV finally finished building the digger. It was over 4000 pieces including 6 motors and 2 control hubs. SV was really excited to have a go with it. EV was excited to see how it moved and seemed to like how big it was. In fact it is almost as tall as she is when the arm is fully up.
EV and MV wanted to ride in the backyard and do their nails. Luckily it was a lovely afternoon and they could do both. They got their nails done first and then rode around barefoot to let the polish dry. Pretty smart really.
The afternoon was really rainy and the kids had enough of sitting around. They just had too much energy, so TV got them all to put on their rain gear and go for a wet walk to find splashy puddles. They certainly found them and enjoyed jumping and racing leaves in the gutters. Afterwards a hot bath and pyjamas to get warm and comfy.
SV had a couple of very excited cheerleaders who were very happy to watch her play her match. They had their snacks and water to ensure optimal cheering capability. They were really good buddies and sat watching together for the first half before going and saying hi to SV. Then in the second half they started playing together and running around a bit as well.
Sv had another soccer match and after a bit of a hick up we made it for the game. Her team had one of their better games and despite a number of opportunities ended with a draw. All the girls were quite happy with the result.
EV is really enjoying wearing this dress up. She is starting to engage in imaginative play more and even wears a headband like the ears to complete her look. She ditched the ears in favour of a mask to introduce a bit of mystery later on.
The girls made themselves breakfast and enjoyed eating it together. MV was even helping EV finish hers as she got tired of doing it herself.
