SV's friend was going to go home and so we had cake to celebrate SV. After some smooth talking with her mum she got to stay for dinner. SV really enjoyed that especially since she got to share her favourite meal, haluski, with her friend who had never had them freshly made before. It was a really pleasant evening and a great way to end the day.
The girls had lots of fun on the rides and after a corn dog they were ready for games as well. They did well and each had a good time. Even more so because they were doing it together.
For her birthday SV really wanted to go back to the fun fair and ride more rides. She got to invite her friend Sadie along. MV ran into some of her school chums as well so they had a great time running around together and with their friends.
SV just turned 9 and she was really excited about her day. She came downstairs and was greeted by decorations and a stack of presents. After looking at the presents SV and MV grabbed a balloon and fly swatters and began playing balloon ball. It was the highlight of the morning as they hit the balloon back and forth trying to avoid the decorations.
The ladies went to see our friends up in Pretty Beach. They had a great time even spending some good time on the beach. The girls really just wanted to play with them.
Our friend Auntie Sally invited us over for a swim in her pool. The girls were quite keen although EV was a bit shy at first. Eventually all three of them were going for it, jumping in and playing.
MV decided that she wanted to draw on the whiteboard and asked TV what colour certain things should be. Otherwise she created this scene all by herself. The purple sun shone through the clouds onto trees which had blueberries on the their trunks and apples hanging from the branches. MV's friends were also gathered at the bottom of the trees amongst the flowers and also climbed the trees. We really liked the scene and even EV liked it so much that she didn't rub it out or draw over the top of it.
