Hearts to school

TV and SV stopped at the park and played for a little while because they got to childcare too early. Afterwards SV was quite happy to go in and have her breaky. She has been doing quite well when we drop her off at the childcare. She cries briefly (10 seconds or so) just after we put her down, but then she starts playing with other things or goes to have breakfast. We try not to prolong the situation and make it harder on everyone. She is still really enjoying the interaction with the other kids and teachers which has been great.

Indian curry

SV has developed a definite affinity to Indian curries and rice. She also really likes nan bread and pappadams with her meal. The photographs below show just how much she enjoys them.

A shopping jaunt

Little watermelon booty took a nice jaunt through the shopping centre across the street. It was funny to see her walking because so many people stopped to look and smile at her as she tap tapped through the shopping centre.

"Certainly not me!" says SV. "Well, maybe it was me." She confesses.

Potipa invasion

After a long hiatus the Potipa sisters arrived back in Sydney bringing along their brother for the first time. With Mat flying down our core group of friends has been reunited for a few weeks, but of course SV has been in the middle basking in all the attention. SV has already met Naomi in Paris and Yael here in Sydney a couple of times, but it was her first time meeting Becky and Daniel. Before meeting up with everyone we got to the QVB early for once and SV took advantage by walking up and down the stairs and examining all the shops.

 

Watermelon booty

We took the little watermelon booty to the park so she could enjoy the warm day. She stayed well hydrated with her bottle of water. SV is really starting to get around the playground confidently these days, even climbing up and down some of the lower structures.

Visiting Jenny in Manly

We caught the ferry out to Manly to visit our friend and KT's co-worker in Manly. It was a bit of an overcast day but we still had a good time. SV even managed to go in the water and do a bit of swimming.

On the way home SV was getting some of her strength back
