Walking on the old goods line
We took the girls out into the city and walked along what used to be a rail line for goods. It was recently converted into a pedestrian park. There are a number of little places to do things and the girls explored most of them. Unsurprisingly the water feature was a favourite, although they didn't get too wet which was nice.

Backyard picnic
We had a fabulous day of weather and just had to make the most of it. One of the things we did was to have a picnic in the backyard. Of course, what is a picnic without funny glasses??

More morning art
Art in the mornings is now becoming a thing on the weekends. Both SV and MV enjoy having a spot of breakfast, followed by drawing on their leisurely days. Only then are they ready to get dressed and do other things. We don't mind as it gives us and Endir a chance to enjoy a slower paced morning which is quite nice, especially on the weekend.

Bagel and cream cheese
MV is really enjoying her bagel and cream cheese these days. She has an interesting technique in eating them. Let's just say it is not the cleanest way.

SV losing her tooth
SV had a new experience in losing her first tooth. She already has two adult teeth, both of which came in without displacing her existing teeth. So it came as a bit of a shock to her when this tooth started getting wobbly, and then fell out the next day. Once she got over the surprise she was quite excited to write a card for the tooth fairy.

SV's first performance
After school SV has been going to a performance class once a week. Being that the first term is almost over she had a bit of a performance. We all got to go and see it, which was exciting. She did really well and wasn't nervous at all. Well done SV!

Dining al fresco
Since the evening have been quite pleasant, we have been taking our dinners al fresco. It has been really nice and the girls mostly enjoy it. Although SV was slightly critical of enchiladas which have been her nemesis ever since she was little.
