More hippo park

MV is very confident and happy on the playground. Even without SV she still had lots of fun and challenged herself. The best most fun activity is the big swing which she had to herself for quite a while. Once we got home she put all he babies to bed and worked on her puzzles before going for a nap herself without a complaint.

EV meets Papi

After a big day the girls slept in late to get their energy back. They needed their energy because they got to go see Papi. EV and Papi enjoyed meeting each other and spending time together. It became quite clear where EV gets her eye colour as they matched Papi's exactly. It will be interesting to see whether they stay the same.

Bike to the bay

MV has been asking to ride the bike for a while now, so TV took her to the bay since it was another warm and sunny day. We didn't swim, but we did play in the water. We also observed several marine critters including jellyfish, crabs, fish and oysters. We got a bit closer to some of the animals than others, but MV certainly wasn't afraid.

EV meets Eric and Cheryl

EV got to meet Eric and Cheryl for the first time. SV in the meantime got to spend a good amount of time with Friendly the cat. She also got to have some of her birthday presents which was exciting. She put several on at the same time for the photographs of course.

EV meets Babicka

EV got to meet Babicka for the first time and they hit it off straight away. Uncle Richie and Auntie Jeanna got to meet her and have a cuddle as well. Consequently KT got to have a little break to enjoy dinner using both hands.

More from the water park

We had to stop for lunch for two reasons, we were hungry like hippos and because MV got a chill and needed to warm up. We sat in a little cabana and enjoyed the lunch we brought from home, maybe a bit too much. It was also a good chance to recharge our batteries before heading out for a while longer. MV certainly enjoyed the slides but eventually the little shark was ready to go home. We asked her if she wanted a little nap, to which she replied no. Of course she barely made it out of the car park before she was sound asleep.

MV at the water park

It was a really hot day so MV and TV decided to go to the water park. It was the first time MV has been to a water park like this and she was blown away. At first she was a bit hesitant, but quickly warmed up and had a great time. It was good to see that she took her time and made sure she was safe and comfortable before setting out. We think that usually she just follows SV thinking that she can do the same things without too much hesitation.
