Box head jellyfish

It was crazy hat day at school and SV came up with a box jellyfish hat. She designed and created it all on her own. MV found it hilarious.

Going over for dinner

Our friends asked us over for dinner and we were quite excited to go over. The kids went into the park which is directly behind their house. They played quite nicely including the game What time is it Mr Wolf? Proved to be a hit after some climbing around. They all had an excellent dinner before playing together with more low key activities. The grown ups all enjoyed a nice quiet evening of chatting and a peaceful meal.

Looking after Zorro

Uncle Nick was away for a short trip and asked us to look after Zorro for a few days. The girls were excited to do so of course. Zorro wasn't quite so sure though. Eventually he did come out and asked for a bit of a walk. The girls were both happy to take him outside to explore a bit as well before we gave him some dinner.

Discovering a new park

This was a new park for some but not all. Didn't seem to impact how much fun they had though. What did impact the fun was when someone got tired and was told they had to wait to get on the ride. Eventually it was ok, but it was a definite signal to call it a day and head home for a nap.

Tram shed markets

We went to the Tram Sheds where they have farmer markets of sorts. Actually it's more like some boutique products which are really good quality or hard to find elsewhere. We got to try quite a few things and ended up buying quite a few products. We all actually enjoyed it quite a bit.

Introducing EV

EV has joined our family as a very welcome addition. She weight 4.265kgs and was 51.5cm long.

Helping pick out make up

KT needed to pick up a lotion at the store and we all went with her. The girls enjoyed looking at all of the make up and smelling the various perfumes. Although when it was time to leave they were more than happy to go.

Running to the book store

The girls ran to the bookstore to see and read some books. Once there we had a look around and once MV found a nice corner she parked herself and looked through several books. SV found a origami table and made a rabbit in a blanket with a bit of help from one of the teachers. They both really enjoyed the experience.
