Baking with Grandama CeCe and seeing friends

SV is really enjoying baking so she was enlisted by Grandma CeCe to help bake some treats. She was quite helpful, although she always sampled the goods before adding them to the mix. After finishing with the baking, and once MV woke up we all went to see our friends the Dunhams et all. The kids all strengthened their friendship as they watched movies together and jumped around playing. Meanwhile the adults could have a bit of time to relax and talk among themselves.

Cheryl and the kids

The girls got to spend some with Eric and Cheryl. They not only had a chance to take in art, but also to make art themselves. Cheryl always makes sure everyone has fun and gets some tasty treats.

Amelia and Co.

A quick drive to Elk Grove let SV and MV catch up with their friends again. Last time they saw them was in Anaheim at Disneyland. They again had a good time playing, and this time MV got to join in a little bit more. It's cute how excited SV always gets about cake, and then she only ever eats a few bites because she doesn't actually like cake. She likes the spectacle and celebration though.

Hanging out with Rory around the house

MV and Rory played together, although MV did take advantage of her position and abilities to dictate how they played. After Rory went home MV went for a swim where SV joined her. Afterwards they both hopped in for a swing. Grandma CeCe and Grandpa Ron were most obliging in helping them have a great afternoon.

Informal family dinner

There was an informal dinner at Grandma CeCe's house just to bring everyone together. The girls enjoyed having almost the entire family in one place so that they had heaps of playmates. They stayed busy before dinner to work up an appropriately large appetite.

Graduation dinner

In honor of her graduation SV got to pick what she liked for dinner. She chose bryndzove halusky. She gobbled two plate fulls of them and MV wasn't far behind. She enjoyed the flowers she received, but the big surprise was being able to drink cider like the grown ups.

SV's child care Graduation

SV has been talking about big school since last year, so it was no surprise that she was very excited about her graduation. The school put on a good little ceremony. It was quite an emotional thing for KT and TV, but SV was very happy and proud. As she should be, this will be the first of many graduations for her.

Kitty breakfast

After breaky the kids tried on their new cat dresses. SV really liked hers, but MV was not convinced. Playing with the animals and Babicka made up for it though.
