We completed our quick drive around the Ancient City all too quickly. There was so much more to see and do. It was a fun little side trip for the girls to see some of the main sites of Thailand even if we didn't quite have enough time to see them in real life.
We explored the park both on foot and in our cart. There was so much to see and do but unfortunately we only had a limited amount of time. We looked at some of the temples and read about their history, some of which we had actually visited in real life.
We got another very fancy van back to the airport but we made a stop along the way first. We stopped at a place called The Ancient City which had scaled models of most imporatnat sights in Thailand. We hired a electric buggy to drive around as the park was really large. We managed to find not only a delicious Thai tea and fruit drinks, but also a bunch of different monkeys all around the place.
We spent one more evening at the pool and enjoy the lovely sunset. KT also made the most of the view from the balcony, although pretty soon she joined us in the pool as it was just a bit too hot. It was a good way to wrap up our time at the resort.
After wandering the mean streets of Pattaya we found a brewery which served suprisingly good food and beer. The decorations were somewhat eclectic but we enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards we stopped to try out the different things at Maccas to keep Jeanna's tradition alive. We then all sat in the back of a ute to get back to the hotel. It was actually quite a nice way to get back for all of us.
After the wedding we needed to relax a bit and we all wanted to go have a fish spa. We had to walk by the creepy clown and had a hard time finding the spa. We did and all enjoyed some tickles except for EV. She didn't want to try but she was keen to try juices and a bubble tea. So were we to be fair, and it turned out to be a good choice as they were delicious.
As the night wore on EV got quite tired and we took her off to bed. The party kept going for a bit longer but pretty soon the older two girls went to bed as well. The adults continued on for a few more hours though.
