One more birthday party for the year

For the last birthday party of the year we went to park which has a small water play area. The weather cooperated nicely and the blowing cottonwood made it an ideal scene. MV and SV really played hard both in and out of the water, making sure to earn their lunches. EV was certainly the first to fall asleep but definitely not the last.

On the mat

EV is having fun playing on the mat, and the other two are not about to sit by and miss the fun, actually that is exactly what they did this time.EV was happy to play on her own though, learning to grab tiger by herself.

Jinbei time

MV and SV got to pick out jinbei while we were in Japan. They finally had a chance to wear them since the weather has gotten a bit warmer. They may have mistook them for martial arts costumes though because instead of relaxing and getting ready for bed they started working on their kung fu moves. There was some serious attitude and some very good self-control.

In her red costume SV danced to “I’m still standing” and had a fantastic time. She did even better with this dance than her previous one. Afterwards MV was the first on stage to give her a big congratulations.SV had a good time dancing, especially at the performance but she said it was time to try something different. MV on the other hand said she wanted to dance when she started school.

2018 Dancearama Concert

For the second year SV had a dance performance, but this time she had two dances along with the rest of her class. In her blue period she dance to a Moana song and was quite excited to do so. TV was asked to take photographs for the event and was more than happy to do so. He was kept busy running around overing the event but he did get to spend some extra time with SV which was really great. SV for her part was happy to have another concert and dance with her friends. The rest of the family came to watch and MV was spellbound by all of the dancing, all the while keeping a keen eye out for her big sister.

Baby cover up

We're not quite sure what this baby is doing. Perhaps she is a sheik, or embracing her Slovak roots and wearing a shawl, or getting ready to enter a shrine, perhaps just playing hide and seek. In any case we needed to keep pulling the blanket off her face often.

Plaster party

We got an invite to a birthday party at a paint your own plaster animal place. They also had a disco area and lunch. The girls really took their time and worked very diligently on their designs. EV also partied pretty hard before having a nap. It was a quick one as she needed to make more baby friends.
