Beach and ferry

After an ice cream some of us took a leisurely walk along the beach. A ferry, in fact Ferry Mcferryface, pulled in to the wharf. From the water line it was really quite large, but the paddle boarders did not seem to mind. The girls also didn't mind as it gave them a bit of excitement to look at.

Iced creams on or near the beach

The ladies all treated themselves with an iced cream of some sort. There was a pretty neat looking ice cream cart which made it look just too irresistible. It was very pleasant to sit there and eat a treat looking over the water.

After the park it was time to have some lunch. We had tasty fish and chips while admiring the view. Only after the girls played with KT's yellow hat. Oh and the attitude was real. As soon as they had a bit of food though, they were happy and drawing nicely.

Playing in the park

We walked down to the park so the girls could play a little bit before lunch. They had lots of fun exploring everything. SV got a bit stuck in the twirling cup and was really wobbly when she got out.

Visting the gap

It was a really lovely day so we decided to be tourists for a day and go to the gap overlooking the ocean. It was a lovely view across the water and back over the city. We also had a lovely walk taking in more of the views before stopping for a quick snack.

End of a tough week

Some times at the end of a tough week of school and work all a body wants is to sit with their dinner and watch a bit of tele. SV and MV both had some falls at school resulting in scratches and bruises which left them exhausted.
