We all got to go to MV's dance show and we were all quite excited about it. Despite doing dance for two years this was her first proper show with nice costumes and everything. We were all really excited and were not disappointed by the show. We were all very proud of MV and all of her fellow performers.
EV and TV dropped off SV at her friend's birthday party before spending some time in Darling Harbour. Since it was a warm day they started by playing in some of the water features. EV slipped and got a bit wet which made her upset, but eventually she cheered up. After having a change we went and played on the playground. We finally ended up having a cheeky gelato before picking up SV and heading home. We had to hurry to make it to MV's dance show.
MV was really excited on the eve of her big dance performance. She got to put on make up and some fancy dance dresses. That is one of her favourite things to do, so it made her decidedly less nervous to actually do the performance.
The younger two ladies needed a little bit of air so we took them to the park. They had fun playing just the two of them. They climbed all over everything and really had fun pushing their abilities.
The girls got a kit to make different food out of gummy lollies. They each had a different one and shared tastes across them, which was a good thing as some tasted a bit weird. All of the kids were fun to make though.
Špekáčky are a Slovak/Czech type of sausage which is usually grilled over an open flame. They are served very simply with veggies and some bread. TV managed to find some and we decided to make them over the BBQ. Each girl grilled her own and then enjoyed eating it. They got a level of satisfaction by do it as they were essentially in charge of their own dinner.
SV has been teaching Setsuna some new tricks. Setsuna loves a particular type of treat and is willing to do almost anything. She has mastered standing on her back legs and now she's doing standing kisses.
