Another appearance in print

KT and SV have made it into yet another public document. This time it's a planning document published by Transport for New South Wales. None of them were even aware that this photograph taken by TV was even going to be published until a friend told them about it. That means that KT and SV have now been in at least four publications and an ad campaign put out by the NSW State Government.

Distraction

SV doesn't watch much tv, but when she does it really captivates her. We like that because when we allow her to watch it we know she will sit quietly and behave perfectly.

Spending time with Pember

KT and TV had some time in the city which gave SV and Pember plenty of time to hang out. They had a great time. SV got to play the piano at Pember's house before they took Bruno, the dog, for a walk. They even stopped to feed the ducks and played at the playground. SV had a blast, but she was very happy to see KT and TV when they got back.

Out to dinner

Since we had needed a car during the day we held on to it a bit longer and used it to go out to dinner. We had fun going to Outback Steakhouse which was a surreal experience. It's funny to go to a restaurant which is an American take on Australian culture/food in Australia. This time SV was in a good mood and had fun, but she did not care too much for her super bland dinner.

Mother's Day high tea 2014

SV and TV took KT to the Sheraton hotel for a Mother's Day high tea. SV chased away all the rain with her umbrella dance and we ended up having a lovely time. The high tea was lovely because it wasn't terribly crowded and the view was fantastic, overlooking Hyde Park and the harbour in the distance. We hope you all had a good day as well.

Shopping centre fun

We went to our local Westfield shopping centre because we have been avoiding shopping for months and it has gotten to the point where we really needed to get a few things. SV didn't mind though as it meant she could run around and take advantage of all of the toys. She especially enjoyed the indoor playground which was really great for us. Of course a shoe store is like a playground for her as well, especially when she gets to try on pink sparkly shoes. One thing she wasn't particularly impressed with though were the 'Brazilian' dancers who were anything but Brazilian.

So tired

After all of our running around SV is worn out. She decided that she would rather take the pram this time so she could get a bit of rest.

Baby Proms Part 3

After the performance we all took advantage of the gorgeous day to have some lunch overlooking the harbour. It's times like these that really make us appreciate living in Sydney and make it such a wonderful place to live. For some reason we forgot to bring sunglasses for ourselves and SV was not terribly impressed. In fact she tried a number of ways to mitigate the sun in her eyes.

After lunch we all walked back together and SV used KT as a sherpa. She did eventually want to walk alone as well. She and Sophia had a great time walking together and making phone calls too.
