SV enjoys playing with her stamps. They are not only a fun toy, but they are also a good reward for when she does something good. Playing with her place-mat is not necessarily a good thing. Although this time she was having fun as dinner was getting ready so we didn't mind.

Gingerbread shark
Sometimes this little shark pretends to eat fruit such as cherries with a big smile.
But don't be fooled, she can be absolutely vicious towards gingerbread. Here is a short study of her gingerbread eating habits. Notice how the eyelids cover her sensitive eyes as she goes in for the big bite. Poor chocolate teddy doesn't stand a chance.

Farewelling Richie
After two months and thousands of kilometres we finally had to bid good bye to Richie. He really became part of the family during that time, and his little room-mate really grew fond of him. It was really an emotional good bye with SV giving Richie a huge hug knowing that she wouldn't see him for a while. Just as he was leaving there were thumbs up all around though for good luck.

Richie's last day
Richie's last day was fun, but it had a bit of a melancholy undertone. He took in some last minute sights and did some last minute shopping. SV really enjoyed the book store, although she did take a bit of a break to recoup some energy. We finished up the day with a fantastic Korean dinner sitting on couches. Good fun.

Scooter: The Birth of an Extreme Athlete
Some of you may recall that for Christmas SV got a scooter as a present. Well she has come a long way with riding it. She is now quite comfortable at pushing and turning, so much so that she is now trying out some pretty hairy things. Notice a skill she hasn't learned yet? Here's a hint, it begins with 'br' and ends with 'king'. Oh well, she'll figure it out sooner or later.

Garage portraits with Richie
On our return back to Sydney we had lots to do not the least because Richie was soon leaving. We did manage to make some time to take some family portraits with all of us though. Here are some of the results.
