Some of the ladies went off to look for the river but first they had to make their way through the paddock. MV and TV watched as they zig zagged their way across. We yelled across to each other as well which was fun.

Horse farm tour - Lower Paddocks
The farm tour extended down to the lower paddocks where the girls got to feed the ducks, EV's favourite. They also continued feeding the horses, even some cheeky ones. We also got to explore down by the river which is home to a platypus or two. We saw a big termite nest and a fox hole as well. Pretty exciting stuff for us city slickers.

Horse farm tour - Upper Paddocks
We did a tour of the farm starting in the upper paddocks. The girls had a chance to ride in the hay trailer but EV refused to go in. She instead recruited TV to be her personal pony. The girls really enjoyed feeding the different animals including throwing hay to the horses.

Babo gets a ride
TV and EV went for a rekkie of the mountain bike park which TV was going to go ride the next day. They got to ride some of the trails and had fun exploring a bit. Although EV insisted afterwards that it wasn't fun because it was too bumpy. They got to see some wildlife including a couple of brush turkeys.

Walking rabbit on the farm
After a leisurely morning which included a big breakfast, the girls got Setsuna out of the barn and took her for a hop around the farm. She seemed to enjoy it, especially the long grass. She got to meet one of the horses but neither one was much interested in the other. The girls had heaps of fun doing it though.

Arriving at the farm
Our first act in the new year was to pack up and leave Sydney. We headed north to a farm where we stayed a few days. It was primarily a horse farm but they had other animals as well. The girls jumped out of the car and went straight to feeding the nearest horse who they named Chompy. Later we walked around some of the other parts of the farm where we met the chickens, ponies and goats. EV was upset because the goats were not listening and kept walking around. Setsuna got to come with us as well and made herself comfortable in a horse stall which gave her heaps of room.

Park hopping continued
We moved on from the 'unlucky' park to the water where we saw a couple of fish and a ray in the water. The girls also hopped around the beach to find crabs and shells. They had fun eventually it started getting warm so we moved on to a more shady park. Eventually we ended up going home and after a good lunch had an iced cream as a reward.
