Minding baby Angus

KT and SV had little Angus over for a most of the afternoon. SV was very good with him, mostly patient and willing to play games. KT was quite happy to have a baby, although she realised how much more energy he had than SV did at that age. He was constantly on the move.

Tiny Morgan

Not sure where SV picked up the Captain Morgan pose, but she was quite insistent in doing it. She even set up her stool to do it. Then she gave us a bit of a pirate scowl as well. Maybe she just took international talk like a pirate day a bit too seriously.

Nail painting

KT was painting her fingernails before we went out for the day. SV saw that, and asked to get her nails painted too. KT was more than happy to oblige her and have a ladies day.

Big news for SV

After a good discussion with KT, SV has now foregone nappies during the day and is now using the toilet. She decided to make the switch by herself and is now embracing the change with good success. Well done kid!

This is the second day of being out of nappies, and her first day of going to school without them. It's kind of a big deal, but we all think it will be a success. 

Visiting The Cross

Kings Cross that is. We caught the train to see Uncle Adam and his new apartment in the heart of Kings Cross. Carlos and Damian met us there as well, and we got to catch up about their recent trip to Europe from which they returned the past weekend. It was great weather which coupled with the glorious view from the rooftop terrace made for an excellent picnic. SV had fun both on the journey and seeing her uncles. She was pretty tired by the end though.

Lucky charms

SV is a brand new lucky charmer. By which we mean that she tried the cereal for the first time and approved of it. She quite liked the box, perhaps more than the cereal.

Bubble wrap

It seems that the simplest toys are the most amusing. SV was focused on popping bubbles for a good 20 minutes before she finally moved on to something else. Of course now she no longer wants help with them.

Silly glasses and nose

SV got a pair of silly glasses and nose at school. She now likes to take them out at random times and wear them for a few minutes before tossing them aside for a while. TV finally managed to get a couple of photographs of her in them as she acted appropriately silly.
