Preparing for Halloween

 We were all getting ready for Halloween and the beginning of autumn. TV trimmed was busy trimming trees and bushes while EV tried on costumes. Then we all went and worked on carving pumpkins in the front yard. They turned out really well.

Addams Family

 Uncle Richie and Auntie Jeanna had a Halloween and house warming party. Our whole family dressed up as the Addams family. The costumes were great and we had a good time. We left a bit earlier before things got wild, but we got to see quite a few people we knew. It was good to catch up with them.

Crazy hair day

 It was time for crazy hair and sock day for EV and MV. They both decided to combine the two since there is nothing crazier than socks in ones hair. They were the only two that thought of that and did it at school.

Picking out our pumpkins

 After having fun around the farm it was time to actually pick out our pumpkins. We took a hay ride pulled by a tractor. Some of us made a poor choice by wearing short which made the hay rather itchy. Didn't really matter too much as we got to walk through the field and pick out some great pumpkins before heading home. Picking pumpkins with such a lovely sunset was wonderful.

 Since there were so many nice pumpkins we just had to get some nice photographs together. There were some heroic poses thrown in for fun too.

Heading to the pumpkin patch

 Someone recommended a fun pumpkin patch so we drove out a fair way to go for a visit. It was quite a big place with lots of activities. Not only were there cool activities but there were also fun and tasty snacks to be had. And of course loads of pumpkins.

 Setsuna was getting into the spirit of Halloween and tried on he wings. SV was very supportive of this dress up situation.
