Sparkle art

SV started this sparkle based art project at the hardware store before taking it home. Sufficed to say that she was encouraged strongly to do it outside and while MV was sleeping. Glitter still got everywhere, but at least it was mostly outside and not in anyone's eyes or mouth. The finished piece looked good too.

Big trolley fun

With took a trip to our favourite warehouse shopping destination. The kids like the trolleys there since they can sit side by side comfortably. Alternately they have plenty of room to roam around in the cart area. Surprisingly we managed to leave having bought almost nothing but groceries.

Box, box, box

It was fun with boxes. They were something to wear, something to crawl into, something to eat in and something write on. Best thing is that now that they are played out we can just recycle them.

Indoor playing

It was a really hot and humid day and KT had to sleep after a night shift so TV took the girls for a play. It was surprisingly quiet at the indoor playground and they both had a lot of fun. They mostly played together and explored the entire centre.

More from the reptile park

The reptile park certainly had much more than just reptiles and both KT and SV enjoyed getting up close with the residents. SV got a bit grumpy when she was disturbed at her fossil dig but she quickly got over it. One of her favourite exhibits was the Egyptian crocodile pharaoh with the live crocodiles around it.

Reptile park visit

SV is still on school holidays, so KT and her went along on a visit to the reptile park with our friends. They really got to see some exciting reptiles and marsupials. Getting to pat and hold some of the reptiles was certainly a highlight.
