EV's day out

 EV got to have a day out with KT as they went to Sydney Uni. KT had to work a little bit but then the two of them explored the lovely campus and finished the day with a nice treat.

 EV has discovered selfies and the fun of making faces while she takes photographs of herself. Just like her sisters before her she is exploring this new discovery of herself.

Good sleep at home

 When we got home we had a full day but we were all ready for a good sleep. Luckily we all had just that. The girls got up late and decided to make pancakes for breaky. They worked together quite well and the resulting pancakes were quite good. Lots of love baked right in.

Heading home from the Sac

 It was time to head home and we were ready. This time we left from Sacramento airport on a short flight to San Francisco. This short flight was operated by United and true to form they were horrible. All of our recent flights with United have been terrible with customer service being just awful. One positive was that it was such a comfort and relief to board our Qantas flight home and hear those friendly Aussie accents. First though we had 3 lounges to visit, the first in Sacramento was actually small but good. Then we visited two in San Francisco since we had a 7 hour layover. Beside the United ground staff, we had a really nice trip home and got home well.

One more art project

 The girls worked on one more art project before we head home. EV in particular was very focused. She got a little bit of help from her sisters, but she diligently worked on her painting for a long time. Her sisters played a game of modified checkers using some squishy characters.

BC Bike Race and Squamish

 TV had an opportunity to take part in the BC Bike Race on Vancouver Island. This was a 7 day cross country stage race through several of Vancouver Island's wonderful trails. It was a physical and mental challenge as the race was 231.5 kms and over 6,500m of climbing across the seven days. TV had such a great time riding even though there were a number of challenges that he had to work through. It was a fantastic and challenging week though with an event that was really well organised and full of lovely people. After all that TV headed to beautiful Squamish to have another day of riding on some technical trails and phenomenal rock slabs. 

Painting stuff

 The girls went with Babicka to one of those places where you paint stuff. They each picked out something to paint. EV picked out a mermaid while SV picked bunnies. MV decided to stay at home with KT since she was finally feeling good and out of self quarantine. Afterwards Babicka took the girls to an arcade for a few games. So definitely a fun and successful day.
